Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field.
• Level II: 1 year of applicable experience or equivalent.
• Level III: 2 years of applicable experience or equivalent.
• Level I: BLS certification.
• Level II: BLS; ACSM certification (must attain within 1 year of hire).
• Level III: BLS (ACLS preferred), ACSM Clinical Certification as Exercise Specialist required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety for clinical members during exercise sessions.
• Triage symptoms and vitals pre/during/post exercise sessions.
• Teach group fitness classes on land and pool.
• Assist with planning and implementing clinical exercise programming.
• Provide personal training sessions to clients with a variety of goals and health histories.
