Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of licensed leader.
• Provides quality exercise and health education for patients, ensuring a safe, pleasant atmosphere.
• Establishes and updates exercise programs to address client needs.
• Supervises and assists clients with daily exercise sessions, ensuring safety.
• Documents patient response to treatment and supports providers in treatment plans.
• Completes other clinical duties as assigned.

The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision oflicensedleader. Provides quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Establishes and updates the exercise program to address the Client/participant’s needs. Supervises andassistsclients/participants with their daily exercise sessions, ensuring client/participant safety. Provides effective instruction to Clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Supports the health education needs of the center. Supports Therapist(s)/Providers in providing effective treatment plans. Documents patient response to treatment. Completes other clinical duties as assigned. Demonstratesabilityto offer support and potential enhancements of services.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education,orClinical Exercise Physiology.

Experience

• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
