The ideal candidate will study exercise roles in health, disease prevention, rehabilitation, and aging, and build an extramurally funded program integrating exercise physiology with healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• D. in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
• Record of extramural funding to support research initiatives.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Evidence of teaching, research, and service at a level commensurate with rank.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a funded research program in clinical exercise physiology and related areas.
• Recruit, mentor, and guide graduate students in research endeavors.
• Conduct high-impact research and establish collaborations across FSU Health and clinical partners.
• Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching and program development.
• Engage in service and outreach activities.
