We seek candidates who will develop an extramurally funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and engage in service and outreach.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in teaching, research, and service commensurate with rank.
• Record of extramural funding or potential to obtain funding.
• Strong scholarly productivity with peer‑reviewed publications.
• ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a nationally and internationally recognized research program with extramural funding.
• Recruit, mentor, and guide graduate students through academic and research endeavors.
• Conduct high-impact research in cardiometabolic health, exercise interventions, and related areas.
• Establish collaborative partnerships across healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in areas of expertise.
• Develop curricula and engage in service, committee work, and outreach.
• Engage in community outreach promoting health, nutrition, and exercise science education.
