Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center seeks an Exercise Physiologist to prepare patients and equipment, assist therapists, and develop programs for ages from infancy to adulthood. The role includes leading rehab groups, prescribing personalized plans, and ensuring safe, effective exercise sessions.

Under supervision, you will interpret data, maintain equipment, and participate in performance improvement while ensuring high-quality patient care across division services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology.
• Less than 1 year of clinical practice.
• Knowledge to assess clients and design exercise programs safely.
• Familiar with emergency procedures in safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility and endurance.
• Lead established exercise/rehab groups.
• Prescribe individualized programs and specify equipment.
• Interpret data to evaluate progress and adjust plans.
• Prepare treatment area and maintain equipment.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders for coordinated care.
• Participate in the department’s performance improvement program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
