Job summary

Sparrow Eaton Hospital is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to support cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiovascular stress testing in Charlotte, MI. You will ensure evaluations, assessments, and treatments follow clinical guidelines and that staff are trained for duties.

You will administer graded exercise tests, monitor patient status, document progress, and collaborate with RT/RN/EP to maintain safety.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in exercise testing or clinical exercise treatment.
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, health and fitness or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Administer graded exercise testing with proper safety precautions.
• Coordinate with RT/RN/EP for monitoring and care.
• Develop and document treatment plans approved by medical staff.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and biometric screenings.
• Ensure accurate billing and proper documentation of procedures.
