Job summary

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is seeking an exercise physiologist to emphasize exercise and preventive care for cardiovascular and pulmonary patients. You will develop individualized fitness programs, assess risk via medical history, and perform stress testing and data analysis to guide treatment.

Responsibilities include cardiac testing, IV access, EKG interpretation, and participation in cardio and pulmonary rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform exercise and pharmacologic cardiac testing.
• Set up Holter monitors and perform scanning.
• Establish IV access and perform EKGs as needed.
• Administer intravenous medications for pharmacological stress testing.
• Support cardiac, wellness/fitness and pulmonary rehabilitation environments.
