Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a Durable Medical Technician to provide clinical equipment services under supervision. The role includes validation and inspection of clinical beds for safety and functionality, conducting planned maintenance, calibration, and repairs of beds and stretchers, while upholding TRIMEDX core values in every interaction.

The position emphasizes equipment database accuracy, compliance with MEMP and regulatory policies, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of experience in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience preferred.
3 months experience working with clinical beds, stretchers, or biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license required; variable travel may be needed.

Responsibilities

Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, ESI, and OVP on clinical beds and stretchers.
Repair, install, and calibrate clinical beds and stretchers.
Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
Learn and maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
Assist BMETs to perform and learn more complex repairs.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
