Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Durable Medical Technician to provide clinical equipment services under supervision, including validation and inspection of clinical beds for safety, and performing maintenance, calibrations, and repairs to ensure proper operation.

You will document service history, support BMETs, and maintain strong customer relationships while upholding core values. A high school diploma or GED and some biomedical experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience preferred.
• 3 months experience working with clinical beds, stretchers, or biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on clinical beds and stretchers.
• Repair, install, and calibrate clinical beds and stretchers.
• Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns.
• Learn and maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist BMETs to perform and learn more complex repairs.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Maintain inventory and service history in the equipment database.
