Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Clinical Equipment Coordinator at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA to manage the Common Pool Medical Equipment (CPME) and supplies to support patient care.

The CEC ensures proper inventory, performs daily rounds, coordinates with Nursing, Materials Management and Biomedical Engineering, and responds to service requests to keep CPME available and ready for use.

Qualifications

• Experience in a health care environment is required.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve equipment repairs is critical.
• Knowledge of computers, electrical, electronic and mechanical principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with current Materials Management Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain an accurate and dynamic inventory of all CPME.
• Track consumable/accessory inventories and submit purchase lists to Materials Management.
