Job summary

Brown University Health’s Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA seeks a Clinical Equipment Coordinator to manage CPME equipment and supplies, ensuring availability for patient care. You will coordinate with Nursing, Materials Management, Transport, and Biomedical Engineering.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, tagging equipment, supporting preventative maintenance, and training staff on CPME use. Per diem schedule with flexible shifts; pay range is posted.

Qualifications

• Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate dynamic inventory of all CPME across the medical center.
• Clean and tag CPME equipment to established standards.
• Monitor par levels for CPME and consumables to ensure adequate supply.
• Respond to service requests and determine if issues are equipment, operator, or procedural.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with Biomedical Engineering and Nursing.
• Assist in coordinating CPME rentals during high census periods.
• Research product information, upgrade options, and pricing with Nursing Management.
