Job summary

Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) seeks an Environmental Services Specialist to clean and maintain hospital areas under supervision of the Environmental Services Lead. You will ensure rapid turnover between cases and patient stays, while following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, basic English communications, and prior cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in hygiene and environmental cleaning preferred.
• Experience cleaning and disinfecting handling biological materials preferred.
• Good verbal and written English communication; follow safety instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Willingness to learn and participate in safety and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas and maintain supplies for rapid turnover.
• Operate vacuum cleaners, washing machines and related equipment.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to clean patient rooms.
• Dispose of trash and biohazard waste using proper techniques.
• Establish a regular cleaning schedule for all facility areas.
• Respond to hospital cleaning needs promptly.
