Job summary
Sentara Health in Virginia Beach seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture efforts, aligning information systems, infrastructure, and applications with business and clinical objectives. You will analyze the current IT environment, define target-state architectures, standards, and roadmaps to guide transformation across domains.
With focus on clinical systems, you’ll mentor architects, govern architecture programs, and partner with leadership on cloud adoption,
Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience with a degree.
- 10+ years of experience without a degree.
- Healthcare IT and clinical systems experience preferred.
- Cloud (Azure/AWS) and data platforms; TOGAF/DODAF familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture efforts aligning IT with business and clinical goals.
- Define target-state architectures, standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
- Mentor architects and engineers; govern architectural programs.
- Collaborate across architecture, security, infrastructure, and applications.
