Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Clinical Engineering supervisor to oversee dispatch of service requests, coordinate with hospital management, and ensure regulatory compliance across PM/inspection programs.

The role includes staff supervision, documentation, and participation in Environment of Care and safety audits, with opportunities to lead clinical engineering projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Biomedical, Clinical or Electrical Engineering is required/preferred.
• Graduate from an electronic technical school.
• 7 years supporting clinical and/or radiological devices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and dispatches requests for service while evaluating responsiveness, courtesy, and customer satisfaction; coordinates with clinical management.
• Ensures departmental informational system documentation is completed by technical staff.
• Manages technical resource issues, skill development, user prioritization and the daily PM/inspection program for compliance.
• Supervises staff, evaluates work, and implements disciplinary action as needed.
• Represents Clinical Engineering in Environment of Care and safety committees; attends audits and meetings; follows up with corrective actions.
