UT Health Jacksonville in Jacksonville, TX is seeking a full-time Clinical Educator RN / Stroke and Trauma Coordinator for day shift. The role focuses on developing and delivering education to elevate patient care and ensure adherence to standards across departments.

Qualifications include BSN, Texas RN license, and BLS within 14 days. Masters in nursing and 2+ years in management/teaching are preferred, along with 5+ years in Acute Care.

• Minimum of five years of Acute Care clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out an educational plan to enhance and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.
• Lead and coordinate stroke and trauma education initiatives.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff and other disciplines to support education programs.
• Provide ongoing training and resources to staff to improve patient outcomes.

• UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center amd actute stroke ready facility, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

The Clinical EducatorRNcarries out a plan of educational activities to enhance, promote, and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - BSN required
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in nursing
• Minimum of two years of management/teaching experience
• Familiarity with the organization and functions of other disciplines within the hospital
• Minimum of five years of Acute Care clinical experience
