Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Perioperative Clinical Educator RN to lead nursing education programs and ensure clinical competence.

The Education Specialist will coordinate curricula, partner with the education team and hospital leadership, and help implement new products and technology to improve patient care.

Formación

• BSN required for RN education role.
• Current, unrestricted OK RN license.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Preferred MSN and 3–5 years nursing education experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and implement nursing clinical education programs and competencies.
• Plan, organize, and deliver education/training aligned with needs assessment and quality improvement.
• Support operations through teamwork, customer service, quality assurance, and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with education team and facility leadership on hospital-wide education initiatives.

The Education Specialist Responsibilities

• The Education Specialist is responsible for the Coordination and Implementation of Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence.
• This responsibility includes the planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
• The individual assists in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they apply to areas of responsibility.
• This individual works collaboratively with other members of the education team and facility leadership on global hospital education initiatives as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current, unrestricted OK RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• 3-5 years of experience - nursing education experience
