Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System is seeking a day shift, full-time Perioperative Clinical Educator Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The Education Specialist coordinates and implements Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence to support high-quality patient care.

Minimum BSN and Oklahoma RN licensure with BLS and ACLS are required; MSN is preferred. This role emphasizes teamwork, policy adherence, and collaboration with the education team for hospital-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN required and current RN license in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification is required.
• MSN preferred for advanced educator role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence.
• Plan, organize and execute education/training programs identified through needs assessment and quality improvement.
• Support operations through teamwork, customer service, quality assurance, and policy development.
• Collaborate with the education team and facility leadership on hospital-wide education initiatives.

• The Education Specialistis responsible for the Coordination andImplementationof Nursing Clinical Education Programsand Clinical Competence.
• This responsibility includesthe planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
• The individual assists in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and proceduresas they apply to areas of responsibility.
• The individual works colaborativel y with other members of the education team and facility leadership on global hospital education initiatives as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current, unrestricted OK RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified

• 3-5 years of experience - nursing education experience
