Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Clinical Educator RN for the Progressive Care Unit in Pocatello, ID. This full-time, variable shift role requires a strong clinical background and leadership to guide nursing staff at the bedside.

Responsibilities include partnering with the Education Manager to deliver education aligned with regulatory standards; earning BLS within 14 days of hire; and promoting evidence-based care across the continuum to elevate patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Strong clinical background required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for working with the Education Manager to provide education in accordance with regulatory bodies and hospital requirements.
• The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) position has a strong clinical background and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• The CNE takes an active role in education and development of nursing staff at the patient bedside; moving their expertise from novice to expert.
• The CNE utilizes evidence based practice to enhance the quality of clinical care across the continuum.
• The CNE models and maintains excellence in clinical and professional expertise.
