Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a highly organized Clinical Educator to act as a facilitator, teacher, and resource person for new and current staff. You will assess, plan, organize, implement, and evaluate staff development programs directed toward professional excellence and patient safety.

Promote high-quality, continuing professional development across the organization, including orientation and in-service education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least one-year of acute care experience as an RN
• One-year of clinical education and staff development experience
• Clinical experience with the geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess current and future needs on clinical-care and non-clinical-care issues.
• Develop, conduct, and evaluate the nursing orientation program.
• Design, implements, and evaluates educational programs.
• Oversees CPR program for MJHS and maintains appropriate documentation for facility employees.
• Coordinate annual required education: risk management, safety, infection control, employee health, etc.
