Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Educator to create and implement staff education and development programs across clinical and non-clinical areas. The role emphasizes improving patient outcomes through structured training and ongoing professional growth.

Ideal candidates will have telemetry, cardiology or critical care exposure, RN licensure, and relevant master’s preparation. The Education Department supports lifelong learning and professional development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience required.
• Cardiology or Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and/or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
