• Reinforces policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines with nursing staff.
• Coordinates nursing centered rounds and bedside reporting with management and multidisciplinary rounds involvement.
• Provides service line specific unit educational programs with NPDS and preceptors.
• Monitors compliance and attendance rosters.
• Ensures quality of professional services by maintaining competency and continuing professional growth.
• Designs and evaluates orientation and annual needs assessment education plans.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
