Job summary

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to strengthen clinical knowledge, support onboarding, and promote safe patient care across two settings in Palm Beach County, FL.

You will lead orientation, competency validation, and education initiatives, guiding licensed and unlicensed staff toward improved clinical outcomes and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years of nursing experience required.
• One year of clinical educator experience required.
• Community Health Centers: at least one year in community health, ambulatory nursing, or behavioral health.
• Lakeside Medical Center: at least one year of acute care nursing experience.
• Valid Florida RN license and Florida driver’s license required.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred; BLS/ACLS Instructor cert required within nine months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver orientation, onboarding, in-services, clinical training, and competency programs.
• Assess educational needs and create learning plans to support staff development.
• Provide clinical guidance, remediation, and individualized education when needed.

• Lakeside Medical Center – Belle Glade, FL
• Community Health Centers – Palm Beach County, FL

What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Educator, you’ll play an important role in strengthening clinical knowledge, supporting professional development, and promoting safe, high-quality patient care. You’ll assess educational needs, develop and deliver clinical education, support onboarding and competency validation, and serve as a clinical resource and role model for licensed and unlicensed staff.

• Provide clinical guidance, remediation, and individualized education when needed.
