Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Clinical RN Educator to lead clinical education initiatives across patient care areas. The role acts as a bridge between practice and education, advancing staff competency, policy adherence, and evidence-based care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, a current BLS certification, and at least five years in acute care with two years in education. Full-time days, 8:00am-4:00pm, on-site in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state.
• BLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
• Minimum 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum 2 years of educational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for new clinical staff and provide ongoing training.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care and mentor staff in skill development.
• Help implement new clinical guidelines, policies, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects.
• Encourage certifications and career growth; inform staff about regulatory trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for newclinical staffand provide ongoing training, in-services, and continuing education on clinical skills, protocols, equipment, and patient care standards

• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care, mentor and coachclinical staffin skill development, critical thinking, and decision-making, and support new graduates andclinicalresidents during onboarding and transition to practice

• Help implement new clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and evidence-based practices whilemonitoringcompliance and providing remediation or education as needed

• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects, analyze performance data, and help develop action plans for improvement
• Encourage certifications, advanced degrees, and career growth and keep staff informed about changes in healthcare regulations and trends
