Job summary

Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Clinical RN Educator to bridge clinical practice and education within our Administration department in Farmers Branch, TX. The educator will develop orientation programs, provide ongoing training, and serve as a clinical resource for staff to maintain high care standards.

Applicants should hold an active RN license in Texas, maintain BLS certification, and bring at least five years of acute care experience with a preference for prior clinical education

Qualifications

• RN license is required to practice in Texas.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for new clinical staff, provide ongoing training and continuing education on clinical skills, protocols, equipment, and patient care standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care, mentor and coach clinical staff in skill development, critical thinking, and decision-making, and support new graduates and clinical residents during onboarding.
• Help implement new clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and evidence-based practices while monitoring compliance and providing remediation or education as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects, analyze performance data, and help develop action plans for improvement.
• Encourage certifications, advanced degrees, and career growth and keep staff informed about changes in healthcare regulations and trends.

We are seeking a Clinical RN Educator , sometimes referred to as aClinical Nurse Educator,RN Clinical Educator, orNurse Educator. TheClinical RN Educatorinourhospital setting is a registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for providing education services of clinical and patient care services to attain our hospital’s objectives , mission and values established by corporate administration.They act as a bridge between clinical practice and education, helpingstaffstay current with best practices, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred.
