Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles is seeking a Nurse Educator to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs for nurses and clinicians in an acute care setting.

You will collaborate with leadership to integrate evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and competency assessment into orientation and ongoing staff development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Three years' of recent experience in an acute care setting: Preferred
• One year experience in clinical education or staff development: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and delivers education programs to enhance clinical competencies of nurses and clinicians.
• Designs and implements processes to assess, validate, and document clinical competencies.
• Maintains knowledge of state/federal regulations and Joint Commission standards to ensure compliance.
• Leads initiatives to integrate evidence-based practices into clinical workflows and education programs.
• Mentors and supports staff, collaborates with leaders to address training needs.
