Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Clinical Education and Placement Manager to lead the nursing school’s clinical programs. You will identify clinical sites, secure affiliation agreements, and oversee student placements, onboarding, clearance, scheduling, and compliance for rotations.

You will collaborate with faculty, administration and healthcare partners while supporting accreditation efforts and community engagement. A nursing background and experience in clinical education are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health professions education industry, administrative analysis and operations research.
• Current knowledge of department, HR and university policies and processes.
• Demonstrated leadership in training staff and guiding educational techniques.
• Strong communication skills with peers, learners, faculty, and program coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of nursing school clinical education programs and affiliations.
• Coordinate student placements, onboarding, clearance and scheduling for clinical rotations.
• Support accreditation efforts and community partner engagement and recruitment.
• Oversee data evaluation, system implementation and long‑range planning for clinical education.
