Job summary

MCPHS School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics (SMIT) seeks a full-time faculty member for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - General program. The role includes teaching across classroom, lab, online and clinical settings to undergraduate students, mentorship of learners, and active participation in scholarly activities to enhance the program's visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification in OB/GYN and extended abdominal required.
• Minimum of 5 years of radiology general sonography and OB/GYN experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom, lab, online and clinical courses to undergraduates.
• Develop and assess clinical education components of the curriculum.
• Supervise students in clinical applications and monitor competencies.
• Deliver didactic, laboratory and experiential instruction in multiple formats.
• Engage in service activities and scholarly work.
