Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee education programs within Geisinger Medical Laboratories. You will bridge didactic instruction with clinical practice, support student success, and help shape program growth and accreditation adherence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with instructors, ongoing program development, and effective coordination of clinical experiences for students across laboratory areas.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science is required or equivalent.
• ASCP certification options (MLS/MLT) on hire are specified.
• Familiarity with NAACLS accreditation and educational technology is desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical education across laboratory sites and ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Onboard and support bench instructors, mentors and students; liaise between programs and clinical sites.
• Conduct regular audits and manage space, materials, logistics, and personnel feedback loops.
• Contribute to program faculty decisions on student evaluation and learning outcomes.
• Assist in recruitment and outreach to raise awareness of clinical lab career paths.
