Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in the United States is seeking a skilled Radiation Dosimetrist to join the AOS Dosimetry team. You will generate radiation dose distributions and calculations in collaboration with the radiation oncologist to support treatment planning.

The role requires expertise in CT/MRI/PET imaging, contouring, and beam geometry optimization to meet prescribed doses, with collaboration across therapists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred.
• Experience with Eclipse/ARIA planning system.
• Board Certification by MDCB.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, oncology, radiobiology, physics, and safety.
• Experience with health care informatics and data systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design treatment plans to deliver prescribed dose while sparing critical structures.
• Identify and contour structures using CT/MRI/PET data; support image registration.
• Create and transfer reference images and localization markers for verification.
• Supervise or perform simulations and tumor localization with CT, MRI, PET.
• Plan and implement fabrication of beam-modifying devices (filters, shields, wedges).
• Plan and implement production of immobilization molds and casts.
• Communicate treatment plan details with therapists and staff.
• Perform dose calculations and document results; verify accuracy.
