Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Radiation Oncology team member to design treatment plans and perform dose calculations in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist. You will contour structures on CT/MRI/PET images, create reference images for portal verification, and supervise simulations for precise tumor localization using CT, MRI, and PET imaging devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing radiation treatment plans using computer/manual methods.
• Proficiency in contouring and identifying dose-limiting structures on imaging.
• Ability to transfer reference images and localization markers for verification.

Responsibilities

• Design a treatment plan with beam geometry to deliver prescribed dose while sparing critical structures.
• Contour normal structures using CT/MRI/PET data and perform image registration.
• Create/transfer reference images and localization markers for portal verification and delivery.
• Supervise or assist in simulations and tumor localization with imaging devices.
• Assist in fabrication of compensators, shields, wedges, and other beam modifiers.
• Assist in production of immobilization devices and communicate treatment parameters to therapists.
• Perform dose calculations, document data, and verify calculations.
