You will collaborate with physicians and coders to issue precise DRG assignments, ensure compliance with ICD-10, and support initiatives that improve patient care outcomes and reimbursement. RN or RHIA background preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, HIM, or health informatics is required.
• RN or RHIA certification or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, DRG, SOI, ROM, and related coding concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates accurate documentation of medical conditions and treatment in patient records.
• Reviews records to ensure complete documentation and appropriate DRG assignment.
• Collaborates with coders and clinicians to optimize documentation and coding opportunities.
• Provides education on documentation practices and supports interdisciplinary teams.
