Marshall Medical Centers in Lake Guntersville, Alabama, is seeking a Documentation Improvement Specialist to coordinate the review of concurrent inpatient clinical documentation and ensure the documentation reflects the patient's severity of illness.

Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, you will work with providers to improve documentation, manage daily duties, and report progress promptly to support quality care.

Formación

• Associate degree or two-year college equivalent.
• Graduate from HIT/HIM or RN program; BSN preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA with 2+ years supervision/management and 1–3 years coding experience.

Responsabilidades

• Daily management of concurrent documentation improvement functions.
• Coordinate concurrent coding clarification issues with physicians.
• Timely reporting of concurrent coding/documentation improvement efforts.
