Job summary

Tewa Roots Society seeks a Clinical Director to oversee TRS Therapy Services (Nest program) with responsibilities for hiring, supervision, program development, evaluation, and scheduling of clinicians in coordination with leadership.

The role requires an active therapy license in good standing, strategic thinking, and ability to supervise clinical staff while ensuring compliance with licensing, ethical standards, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling required.
• Independently licensed in NM as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT with a supervisor designation.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in mental health/substance use services.
• Preference for ten years of related experience and for Native American applicants.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, evaluate, schedule, and take corrective action for clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Executive/Deputy Directors on grant deliverables and contracts.
• Develop intake processes to ensure timely client care.
• Oversee patient rehabilitation referral and coordination.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, ethics, and billing oversight.
• Provide clinical supervision and training to staff and interns.
• Oversee program evaluation, quality assurance, and reporting.
• Represent TRS in meetings with tribal partners and Nambe Pueblo government.
