Job summary

Welltel in Freehold, NJ (with weekly travel to Brooklyn, NY) seeks a Clinical Director to lead clinical quality, provider performance, compliance, and program development across our telehealth network. This leadership role drives standards, onboarding, and new clinical services while ensuring exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician (NP/PA/MD/DO) with proven experience building systems, supervising teams, and navigating CMS/Medicare regulations.

Qualifications

• Active NP, PA, MD, or DO license in good standing.
• Experience diagnosing and treating patients in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated experience leading clinical quality, documentation, compliance, or provider performance programs.
• Experience supervising and mentoring providers.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing processes, workflows, programs, or clinical initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical quality and documentation standards across the organization.
• Lead compliance initiatives and regulatory oversight, including billing requirements and scope-of-practice guidance.
• Provide onboarding and training for new providers; coach through performance improvements.
• Develop and implement clinical programs and pathways, including new service lines.
• Partner with operations and legal teams to maintain compliant operations.
