Welltel is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a fully remote role serving New York patients, with an eventual move to our Freehold, NJ headquarters within 3–6 months. The position requires NY NP licensure and active NY Medicaid/Medicare enrollment, and at least one year in urgent care or primary care settings.

The role emphasizes telehealth care, patient education, and comprehensive chronic and acute condition management in a compassionate, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner license.
• Active New York Medicaid and Medicare enrollment.
• Minimum of one year of urgent care, primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or related clinical experience.
• Experience using EMR systems and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations via telehealth.
• Review histories, medications, allergies and symptoms.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with laws.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and lifestyle changes.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner with an active New York license and active Medicaid and Medicare enrollment to join our growing clinical team.

This position will begin as a fully remote role, allowing you to provide virtual care to patients throughout New York. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Freehold, New Jersey, as the role is expected to transition to an in-office position at our Freehold headquarters within approximately 3–6 months.

Compensation

$120,000 - $140,000 annually

Compensation will be based on experience, credentials, productivity, and overall fit for the position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations via telehealth

Requirements

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner License

• Comfortable providing care through telehealth platforms

Schedule

• Full-Time

• Four-day workweek

• 10-hour shifts

• Monday through Friday schedule
