Job summary

AHN Healthcare@Home in Canonsburg, PA, is seeking a Clinical Director to lead daily operations of our home health clinical services. You will oversee staffing, ensure high standards of patient care, and drive continuous improvement across the care team.

Qualified candidates are licensed healthcare professionals with 3+ years in home health and 5+ years clinical experience, including leadership. This role requires strong leadership, delegation, and collaboration with physicians and providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed healthcare professional with current, active licensure in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in home health or similar healthcare setting.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and performance management, with ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Proven leadership skills, including driving practice improvement initiatives and fostering quality.
• Strong delegation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of home health clinical services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure ongoing staff education, competency, and annual performance evaluations after onboarding.
• Provide strong leadership to establish high standards of patient care, ensuring quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Address patient concerns and complaints with timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Oversee and maintain a qualified, well-organized clinical team meeting patient care needs.
• Manage clinical capacity and ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
• Develop and implement staffing plans aligned with patient care demands and organizational goals.
• Supervise care delivery to meet quality standards and patient/family needs.
• Monitor adherence to care expectations, quality initiatives, and clinical program standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and staff to support performance and service outcomes.
• Consult with physicians and approved healthcare providers regarding patient care services.
• Develop, mentor, and oversee Clinical Supervisors to strengthen leadership.
• Lead recruitment and hiring efforts to support growth and staffing capacity.

We are looking for compassionate Home Health Clinical Director with:

• Licensed healthcare professional required (e.g., Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Occupational Therapist) with current, active licensure in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent professional credential/experience); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in home health or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) plus years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and performance management, with the ability to develop and support high-performing teams.
• Proven leadership skills, including experience driving practice improvement initiatives and fostering continuous quality enhancement.
