Connecticut Counseling Group seeks a Clinical Supervisor (LMFT or LCSW) to lead clinical operations and mentor licensed clinicians in delivering evidence-based mental health care. Qualifications

  • Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, ensuring adherence to clinical ethical guidelines and documentation standards.
  • Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
  • Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy using CBT, psychodynamic, and behavioral health approaches.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management for acute mental health challenges or emergencies.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation and notes per coding systems.
  • Lead training on counseling interventions, trauma-informed care including PTSD, autism strategies, and ABA.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care across settings including telehealth.
  • Collect data for clinical research and monitor treatment outcomes for quality improvement.
  • Proven experience with children, families, developmental disabilities, autism, or PTSD.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral strategies.
  • Expertise in family therapy, marriage & family therapy, and working with couples or groups.
  • Proficiency in motivational interviewing and tailored counseling.
  • Clinical documentation standards and medical terminology related to mental health (ICD-9/10, CPT).
  • Experience with disabilities or special education; hospital settings a plus.
  • Telehealth experience and excellent client communication for remote service delivery.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices within ethical guidelines.
  • Strong case management and patient assessment across healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies in behavioral health for clinical studies.

Requirements

Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, ensuring adherence to clinical ethical guidelines and documentation standards.

Oversee clinical case management, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations.

Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions.

Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare diagnosis coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Lead training sessions on counseling interventions, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, autism spectrum disorder strategies, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care across home, community settings, hospitals, and telehealth platforms.

Collect data for clinical research initiatives and monitor treatment outcomes to support continuous quality improvement efforts.

Proven experience working with children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or trauma-related conditions such as PTSD.

Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, crisis management protocols, and behavioral management strategies.

Expertise in family therapy, marriage & family therapy, child & family counseling, and working with couples or groups.

Proficiency in motivational interviewing and counseling interventions tailored to diverse client needs.

Skilled in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical records management.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs; familiarity with hospital settings is a plus.

Telehealth experience combined with excellent client communication skills for remote service delivery.

Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.

Strong case management skills including patient assessment and treatment planning across various healthcare settings.

Knowledge of research methodologies within behavioral health to support clinical research initiatives.
