Job summary

TRUE Counseling Services seeks an experienced Clinical Director to lead from within, providing clinical oversight while maintaining a meaningful direct-service role in a growing behavioral health organization.

The role blends leadership with hands-on patient care, supervision of clinicians, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across PHP/IOP, outpatient therapy, and group programs. Master’s degree required and Colorado licensure.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Colorado clinical license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent).
• Active clinical supervision credentialing (ACS/CS or equivalent).
• Experience conducting behavioral health evaluations and providing therapy.
• Experience supervising clinicians or leading clinical teams.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ethics.
• Ability to lead IOP and PHP groups while maintaining clinical duties.
• Ability to meet credentialing, payer, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.
• Develop DSM-5-TR impressions and medical necessity.
• Maintain an individual therapy caseload and lead groups.
• Provide family sessions, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
• Oversee documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead supervision and professional development of clinical staff.
• Collaborate with CEO on program growth and operational decisions.
