Job summary

The physician will supervise medical staff, coordinate services, and work under the Regional Medical Director while collaborating with TTUHSC faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice medicine by the Texas Medical Board.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency controlled substances registration certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical services for inmate patients in a correctional setting.
• Supervise physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• Coordinate delivery of clinical health care within TTUHSC Correctional Health Services and within the correctional institution.
