Children’s Specialized ABA embraces a holistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and social well-being, ensuring every aspect of a patient’s life is considered in their therapeutic journey.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director (BCBA) is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the behavioral health program, ensuring – based behavior analysis services. This role will involve supervising a team of BCBAs and behavior technicians, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The Clinical Director will also provide direct clinical services, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure ongoing staff training and development.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on functional assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans through data collection and analysis.
  • Lead and guide the clinical team to ensure high quality and service delivery.
  • Provide direct client supervisor to BCBAs and behavior technicians ensuring adherence to ABA principles and best practices.
  • Ensure the center has a structured schedule.
  • Onboard all new BCBA’s with training and development.

Supervision and Staff Development:

  • Provide regular supervision and mentorship to staff, including RBTs, BCBAs and clinical assistants.
  • Conduct ongoing training and professional development for clinical team members, ensuring competency in ABA methodologies.
  • Ensure all clinical staff maintain required certifications and continuing education to meet state and national standards.

·Responsible for monthly BCBA and RBT training.

  • Annual reviews for the entire clinical staff.
  • Assessment and Treatment Development:
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skill assessments and parent/caregiver interviews.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on ongoing data collection and client progress.

·Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., teachers, therapists) to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to client care.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with families regarding treatment progress, goals, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other professionals.

  • Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $131,600.00 (Base is 105k-110k + bonus potential, this position can make up to $131,600.00 per year)

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • 3 years of experience as a BCBA
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in MD
  • Completion of BCBA supervision training
  • To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
  • CPR & First Aid training required
