East Portland Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a Clinical Director for Ambulatory Surgical Services. The role leads daily clinical operations across OR and Pre-OP/PACU, reports to the ASC Administrator, and drives policies, credentialing, and patient-care improvements.

The position requires active RN licensure in Oregon, BSN or higher, and at least two years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery, with CPR/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with active RN license in Oregon.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
• Clinical leadership, teaching and risk-management capabilities are required.
• CPR and ACLS certification as issued by the AHA are required.

is seeking a motivated Clinical Director-Ambulatory Surgical Services to join our team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Director- Ambulatory Surgical Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical areas (including OR and Pre-OP/PACU) and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Director-Ambulatory Surgical Services will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Required Skills

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN or higher degree preferred
• Must have an active RN license to work in Oregon
• Must have Operating Room experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• CPR and ACLS accredited by AHA required
