Job summary

Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the clinical areas (OR, Pre-OP/PACU, and SPD) and implement process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance.

Monday-Friday work schedule. NO call schedule required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing. BSN or higher degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Nevada.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in surgery setting. ASC experience is a plus.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support accredited by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical areas (OR, Pre-OP/PACU, SPD) and implement process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Report to the ASC Administrator and collaborate to promote fiscal accountability, policies, and staff performance.
• Oversee staff credentialing, safety measures, risk management duties, and use clinical leadership to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain Monday-Friday schedule; no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Support a high-volume, multi-specialty surgery center with focus on quality and patient safety.

USPI Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Las Vegas, NV. We offer our physicians lightning fast turn over times and our patient’s unique personalized service. this is a high volume, fast paced, multi-specialty surgery center! Our mission is to provide first class surgical services to the local community in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment one in which we would be happy to treat our own families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Podiatry.

Job Summary:
