Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Clinical Director will work under the supervision of the Director of Special Education.

The Clinical Director will be responsible for developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and supervising registered behavior technicians (RBT), and BCaBAs who provide ABA therapy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments/Analyses as assigned
  • Work with the billing team to ensure timely billing and procedures for reimbursement
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans for clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Train caregivers and staff on the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans using competency-based training documentation
  • Graph, analyze, and interpret data on the occurrence of target behaviors and replacement behaviors
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries/reports/updates within the requirements of the funding source
  • Complete detailed service logs documenting how services were delivered
  • Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs) as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Train, model, and provide feedback on the implementation of the behavior plan to

Registered Behavior Technicians, BCaBAs and/or other BCBAs under their supervision

  • Provides supervision to ABA Trainees, as needed and in accordance with all applicable laws, standards and regulations.

  • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and document them per policy.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance concerning clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Behavioral Analysis Psychology or related field.
  • Must have and maintain BCBA and CPR certification in good standing
  • Must possess strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience with children/adolescents with autism and/ or developmental disabilities

Compensation:

$75,000 to $85,000
