Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a nutrition professional to promote healthy eating and develop personalized or group meal plans for patients and staff.

You will support employee wellness programs and contribute to community health initiatives as part of a patient-centered care team in Idaho. The role requires RD credentials, state licensure, and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics required; Registration Exam for Dietitians completed or in progress.
• Idaho Dietitian License required with 1–2 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities; time management and multitasking.
• Proficiency with Word, Publisher and Excel; ability to design health and wellness courses.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health education needs and provide tailored nutritional guidance.
• Establish SMART goals with participants to facilitate health improvements.
• Develop and administer wellness programs and nutritious meal plans.
• Promote nutrition awareness through public speaking and community outreach.
• Contribute to health and wellness instructional courses; participate in the Patient Centered Medical Home care team.
