Clinical Dietitian

Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Overview:

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing evidence-based clinical nutrition care within assigned areas, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They actively engage in Performance Improvement projects, serve as a nutrition expert in various forums, and assist in training nutrition assistants and food service staff. Additionally, they identify patients at nutrition risk and provide Medical Nutrition Therapy services under the guidance of experienced clinicians or management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics and/or healthcare food service settings.
  • Certification/Registration: Must hold current RD and LD status, with registration and state practice license. Candidates must be registry-eligible and complete registry requirements within six months of employment. Credentialing and NPI must also be completed within six months of hire.
  • Preferred Education: Master's degree in Dietetics or related field.
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics or healthcare food services.
