Job summary

Qualifications

• ACEND accredited programs are required for dietetic registration.
• Experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and nutrition care processes preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with caregivers and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments using the Nutritional Care Process (NCP) and ADIME format.
• Develops and implements Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and monitors outcomes.
• Modifies care plans to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Calculates nutrient needs and diet restrictions for individual patients.
• Documents MNT in the medical record using ADIME.
• Identifies patients needing nutritional support and communicates with the health care team.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and provides nutrition education.
