Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian through CDR and Florida licensure (or within 6 months)
• Master's degree preferred (effective Jan 1, 2024 for those not credentialed by 12/31/23)
• Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises tasks of the Registered Dietitian.
• Provides clinical nutrition assessment and care for patients.
• Liaises between Food & Nutrition Department, Nursing, patients, and physicians.
• Develops and implements policies to integrate the department and ensure quality care.
• Performs team responsibilities: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, payroll time-keeping, performance appraisals.
• Works with Manager on disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Communicates the service delivery system to ensure quality controls and regulatory compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
