Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with licensure or eligibility and exam plan within 6 months.
• Master's degree by 2024 for new grads; verified education.
• Completion of ACEND program; eligible for licensure in primary state.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred; nutrition care process experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for specialized conditions and populations.
• Use Nutrition Care Process to deliver complex care with autonomy and guidance.
• Apply advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Utilize technology for estimating needs using tools like indirect calorimetry and software.
• Mentor new graduates, interns, and clinical diet techs.
• Incorporate evidence-based care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage nutrition care across continuum including equipment order writing.
• Maintain RD order-writing privileges per policy.
