Job summary
Compass Group's TouchPoint unit in Detroit, MI is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.
You will support education for patients, families, staff, and the community, develop individualized care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while advancing your professional growth and ongoing education.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting
- Educate patients, families, staff, and community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies
- Develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve outcomes
- Apply evidence-based practice in line with policies and facility protocols
- Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction and care goals
