Job summary

Compass Group in Detroit, MI is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and provide education to patients and families.

You will participate in evidence-based practice, follow the diet manual and facility protocols, and contribute to quality initiatives while supporting staff development and internship mentorship.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in acute care settings.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Apply evidence-based practice aligned with the diet manual and facility protocols.
• Support quality and performance improvement initiatives (QAPI).
• Mentor dietetic interns and staff as applicable.
